WASHINGTON, DC – November 23, 2016 – “Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) congratulates Howard University Senior, Cameron D. Clarke of Richmond, VA, as one of the 32 distinguished 2017 Rhodes Scholars from the United States. Without a doubt, Cameron represents an elevated level of talent at our HBCUs. I am sure he will positively represent his family, Howard University, and the entire black college community at Oxford University. Clarke is preparing to read for the M.Sc. by research in Primary Health Care, next October. We celebrate Cameron because he exemplifies all that we aim to do, to empower our HBCU students to accomplish their dreams and become leaders at home and abroad.” Johnny C.
