Thurgood Marshall College Fund president named Prairie View A&M University commencement speaker

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) president & CEO was recently named the spring commencement speaker of the Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) ceremony on Saturday, May 9. 

Dr. Harry L. Williams, president & CEO of TMCF, will provide remarks to the PVAMU graduates. Nearly 1,000 graduates will receive a diploma between the Friday and Saturday events.   

“I wake up excited to go to work every day because of the students and institutions we serve, so it’s an incredible honor to stand among these graduates at the historic campus of Prairie View A&M University,” Dr. Williams said. “Moments like these are some of the most rewarding because I get to witness the joy of these students, their families and friends as they celebrate a job well done.” 

The commencement ceremony will be livestreamed on the PVAMU YouTube channel.
