Thurgood Marshall College Fund board chair recognized as one of Barron’s 100 most influential women in U.S. finance

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) Board of Directors chair was recently recognized as one of Barron’s 100 most influential women in U.S. finance

Racquel Oden, HSBC’s head of international wealth and premier banking, and head of global private banking, serves as TMCF’s board chair and is consistently recognized as a leader in her field. 

“Our organization is extremely fortunate to benefit from the leadership of our board chair and industry titan, Racquel Oden,” Dr. Harry L. Williams, president & CEO of TMCF, said. “Through her long-term commitment to the Thurgood Marshall College Fund as a director and now chair, we’ve continued to exponentially increase our impact for our member schools and students.”

Oden told Barron’s she sees a structural shift in wealth and has shifted her focus to financial fluency while helping her clients know what to do with their money.
