Thurgood Marshall College Fund board chair talked about closing the financial confidence gap on MSNBC’s Morning Joe

The chair of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) Board of Directors made an appearance on MSNBC’s Morning Joe recently to discuss closing the financial confidence gap. 

Racquel Oden, chair of the TMCF board and HSBC Head of Wealth, Premier & Global Private Banking, US, recently appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe with host Mika Brzezinski, MSNBC contributor Huma Abedin and ForbesWomen editor Maggie McGrath.

Oden discusses the financial confidence gap between men and women, how the access to knowledge is benefitting a new generation of investors and trends among women investors. 

The board chair was recently named to the Forbes’ 50 Over 50 list, which highlights women who are creating professional impact. Last fall, Oden received the London Stock Exchange Group Global Executive Leader Award at the 2024 Powerlist Black Excellence Awards in London.  

“The world is catching up to what we’ve known for a long time,” Dr. Harry L.
