Third-year FAMU criminal justice student Tenesha Washington has been selected to attend the award-winning Thurgood Marshall College Fund Leadership Institute.
The national program is designed to develop students’ leadership skills, create a community of scholars, provide companies access to a talented and diverse student population, and help students make connections that lead to careers.
The conference in October prepares selected students from the 47 publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities to compete in today’s competitive global workforce.
Washington has an interest in international relations and plans to pursue a career in family law. She is a member of the National Society of Leadership & Success.
