The Thurgood Marshall College Fund mourns the passing of Cecilia “Cissy” Suyat Marshall. She worked for the NAACP for a number of years and was the wife of the nation’s first Black Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, a relentless advocate for equal justice. We express our condolences and send prayers to the entire Marshall family.
