Washington, DC (July 14, 2015) – The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) announced today that it has expanded its partnership with United Airlines; and, that the company will be the “official airline” of the organization’s programs, including its award-winning 2015 Leadership Institute.
Apple Global Human Resources Chief Denise Young Smith said at Fortune Brainstorm Tech on Tuesday morning that Apple’s next “diversity report” will come “sometime this summer” and will reveal some progress on recruiting diverse employees. A year ago, Apple joined the parade of Silicon Valley companies publicly reporting the gender, race, and ethnicity of its workforce. Apple is working with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund to build a database of African-American grads in computer science.
