Charles Koch teams with black colleges on education and criminal justice research

Thurgood Marshall College Fund established the Center for Advancing Opportunity with a $25.6 million gift from the Charles Koch Foundation and Koch Industries. The Center will engage faculty at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), as well as undergraduate and graduate students at HBCUs and majority colleges and universities, to enable scholars to conduct research to fill gaps in our understanding of the challenges fragile communities face and the steps that can be made to address them.
