12th Annual McDonald’s 365Black Awards set to premiere on BET Networks August 23

The awards are presented annually to salute outstanding achievements of those who are committed to making positive contributions that strengthen the African-American diaspora. Thurgood Marshall College Fund Launches Apple HBCU Scholars Program to Create Diverse Talent Pipeline

TMCF launched the application process for the inaugural year of the Apple HBCU Scholars Program, the largest and most comprehensive scholarship effort in HBCU history. Thirty successful undergraduate student recipients will be awarded sizable scholarships and receive year-long mentorships by Apple employees to include a paid internship at Apple headquarters next summer.

Florida A&M Development Research School Leads New Alliance with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund and University of Phoenix

Students at the Florida A&M University (FAMU) Developmental Research School (DRS) learned today of a new research project designed to pioneer online learning methods and technologies. The research project is the first effort to result from an alliance between the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and University of Phoenix (UOPX) to bring online learning and teaching methods to Historically Black College and Universities (HBCUs).
