TMCF Subsidiary TM2 Leading Search For Benedict College President

WASHINGTON, DC – January 25, 2017 – TM2 Education Search Firm (TM2), a Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) subsidiary, will lead the executive search effort to find the 14th college president for Benedict College. Founded in 1870, Benedict College is a private, co-educational liberal arts institution and currently has over 2,270 students enrolled in baccalaureate degree programs. For five consecutive years (2010-2015), the College ranked among one of the top baccalaureate colleges in the nation, by Washington Monthly, for creating social mobility among low-income students as well as offering cutting-edge scholarships and research opportunities.

“This year is proving to be a great time of growth for our search firm,” said Christopher Braswell, President of TM2. “I look forward to working with Dr. Dorothy Cowser Yancy and the Benedict College Search Committee to find the next leader of this exceptional HBCU; we are eager to partner and serve the Black College community together.”

Recently, TM2 partnered with Stillman College to successfully identify their new Interim President, Dr. Cynthia Warrick, who has a strong track record of serving as interim president within the black college community. Last year, the University of the District of Columbia hired TM2 to conduct their search for a Chief Academic Officer.
