TMCF Statement on New Members Of the President’s Board Of Advisors on HBCUs

WASHINGTON, DC – (September 21, 2018) – Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) applauds President Trump’s appointment of the following four TMCF member-school chancellors and presidents to serve as members of the President’s Board of Advisors on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs):

  • Aminta H. Breaux, president, Bowie State University
  • James E. Clark, president, South Carolina State University
  • Rodney A. Ellis, chancellor, Southern University Shreveport
  • Harold L. Martin Sr., chancellor, North Carolina A&T State University

TMCF will continue to be strong advocates for the entire Black College Community and looks forward to continuing the productive working relationship with the Administration, White House Initiative on HBCUs and this newly appointed Board of Advisors chaired by TMCF’s former president & CEO, Johnny C. Taylor, Jr.
