TM² Executive Search featured in Diverse: Issues in Higher Education

March 4, 2025

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) search firm, TM² Executive Search (TM²) and its managing partner and executive director Dr. Dakota Doman, were recently featured as the cover story of the February edition.

“What Dakota and the TM² staff have achieved in a very short amount of time is phenomenal and deserves to be celebrated,” Dr. Harry L. Williams, president & CEO of TMCF, said. “We want everyone in the historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) space to know TM² is the executive search firm focused on your unique challenges.”

The profile is wide ranging, exploring the history of TM² (previously launched in 2016, folded and then relaunched in January 2024), celebrating its quick success (setting a goal of conducting 10 searches in the first year then executing 50) and the addition of another heavy hitter to the staff (former North Carolina A&T State University chancellor Dr. Harold L. Martin Sr.).

“It’s surreal to be leading this meaningful work after dreaming about it in pursuit of my doctorate,” Doman said. “I’m grateful to Dr. Williams and everyone at TMCF for supporting the TM² mission. We are entrenched and invested in the HBCU community.”
