The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) was one of the philanthropic organizations selected by LKQ for its fourth-annual LKQ Cares Holiday Vote. The LKQ Community Foundation pledged a total of $1 million to support the organizations it selects. TMCF received $25,000 through the initiative.
“We’re honored and appreciative of this selection from LKQ,” Dr. Harry L. Williams, president & CEO of TMCF, said. “Their support provides great impact in our efforts to prepare the next generation of workforce talent for careers at companies such as LKQ.”
As part of the program, 20 organizations received an allocation from LKQ’s total pledge of $1 million. Allocations were determined by the LKQ global team.
LKQ said via social media that the company is excited to support inspiring and impactful organizations that improve communities and make a positive change across the globe.
