Thurgood Marshall College Fund president to speak at Student Success US 2024 conference

Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) President & CEO Dr. Harry L. Williams will serve as a panelist at the Student Success US 2024 conference in Knoxville, Tennessee on Tuesday, Oct. 29.

Dr. Williams will join Jonathan Koppell (president of Montclair State University) and Donde Plowman (chancellor of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville) for a panel discussion about leading with integrity and intention. Sara Custer, editor-in-chief of Inside Higher Ed, will moderate the discussion.

“I’m honored to join my colleagues for this crucial conversation about leading with integrity and intention during challenging times in higher education,” Dr. Williams said.

The discussion will explore the challenges facing higher education, identifying critical issues faced by institutions and strategies to address them. Other topics on the agenda include building a culture of resilience, emerging trends, and balancing tradition and modernization.
