The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) recently added a new consultant to help historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) build capacity through a $25 million grant the organization received from the Lilly Endowment Inc.
Dr. Cassandra D. Caldwell has decades of experience and leadership roles with Visa, General Electric, Sodexo, 4-H Youth Development, North Carolina State University and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Caldwell has also served as adjunct faculty at Cornell University, the University of Maryland, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina Central University, Duke University and the University of Houston.
She earned a Ph.D. in human and community resource development from The Ohio State University, a master’s in public administration from North Carolina Central and a bachelor’s in speech communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
