The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), in collaboration with Hennessy, proudly presents the Hennessy Fellows Program—an exclusive opportunity designed for exceptional graduate students from select historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). This prestigious program combines tailored corporate development experiences with generous financial support to empower future leaders.
Program highlights include:
- Interactive online training sessions
- A dynamic, immersive leadership boot camp
- Networking opportunities that foster idea exchange and provide firsthand exposure to interconnected corporate, social and economic systems
Hennessy Fellows will also receive substantial financial support, including a $40,000 scholarship ($20,000 per academic year) for up to two years and a $10,000 stipend ($5,000 per academic year).

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Hennessy Fellows Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be 21 years of age or older at the time of application, with the two-year program anticipated to begin in fall 2025.
- Be accepted into an MBA program at one of the following priority institutions (applicants attending other schools may also be considered if they meet all additional criteria):
- Clark Atlanta University
- Howard University
- Morgan State University
- North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University
- Prairie View A&M University
- Southern University
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Maintain full-time student status for the duration of the program.
- Be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.
- Be able to fully participate in and complete all program-related activities.
- Remain in good academic standing throughout the program.
This program seeks to identify and empower exceptional talent, fostering academic excellence and professional growth.
How to Apply
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application and accepted into an MBA program with an anticipated start date of fall 2025.

- Undergraduate and post-graduation student transcript (unofficial transcripts are acceptable)
- TMCF professional development assessment
- Personal statement

Yes, this opportunity is open to graduating seniors who have been accepted into an MBA program with the intention of attending as a full-time student in the fall 2025 semester at one of our participating institutions.
