Leadership Institute. The award-winning Leadership Institute is a national program intended to develop students’ leadership skills, create a community of scholars, provide companies access to a talented and diverse student population and help students make connections that lead to careers.
Leadership Institute is a power-packed four-day conference that will prepare juniors, seniors and graduates students attending TMCF member schools to compete in today's competitive global workforce. A key component of this experience is the recruitment fair, conducted throughout Leadership Institute, where leading companies and government agencies representatives will engage with students and offer interviews, internships and full-time job opportunities.
DevCon. DevCon is a regional conference centered on professional development for college freshmen and sophomores from public and private historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Attendees immerse themselves in professional and leadership training, engage in hands-on workshops, gain insights into business essentials and enjoy direct access to TMCF’s esteemed corporate partners and opportunities.
During the three-and-a-half-day conference, TMCF identifies a pool of top-tier early-talent students who can change the current corporate, governmental and technical landscape while advancing company capabilities.
Workforce Development Summit. The TMCF Workforce Development Summit is designed to connect forward-thinking industry partners with work-ready talent from historically Black community colleges (HBCCs), which play a critical role in local and regional economic development through workforce innovation, industry-recognized certifications and associate degree programs. These credentials position students to enter the workforce, filling skilled positions that offer good pay and a promising future. TMCF recognizes the need to drive economic mobility and dismantle barriers to employment through alternative educational and career pathways.
