Scholarship Overview:
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and the Eastern Area Links are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending TMCF’s member schools that include 57 publicly supported historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), historically Black community colleges (HBCCs), publicly Black institutions (PBIs), medical and law schools. Seventy five (75) scholars will be selected to receive a need-based scholarship up to $1,500 for the 2026-2027 academic year. The total eligible scholarship amount will be allocated in one installment during the fall 2026 semester (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a full-time enrolled student as an undergraduate senior at one of the following schools during the 2026-2027 academic year:
- Bowie State University
- Cheyney University of Pennsylvania
- Coppin State University
- Delaware State University
- Hampton University
- Howard University
- Lincoln University of Pennsylvania
- Morgan State University
- Norfolk State University
- University of Maryland Eastern Shore
- University of the District of Columbia
- University of the Virgin Islands-St. Croix
- University of the Virgin Islands-St. Thomas
- University of Virginia Lynchburg
- Virginia State University
- Virginia Union University
- Current cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher
- Must be able to demonstrate a financial need
- Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551

Additional Information:
