Scholarship Overview:
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and MUFG are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending TMCF’s member schools, which include 57 publicly-supported historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), historically Black community colleges (HBCCs), publicly Black institutions (PBIs), and medical and law schools. Four (4) scholars will be selected to receive a need-based scholarship up to $11,500 for the 2026-2027 academic year. The total eligible scholarship amount will be allocated in two installments during the fall 2026 semester and spring 2027 semester (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees).
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a full-time enrolled student as an undergraduate freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior at a TMCF member-school during the 2026-2027 academic year
- Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
- Must be able to demonstrate a financial need
- Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551
