Thurgood Marshall College Fund named a top workplace by the Washington Post

June 27, 2025

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) joined an elite group of organizations after it was recently named as one of the 2025 Washington Top Workplaces by the Washington Post.

Top workplace awards are based on employee feedback gathered through an employee survey, creating a credible and authentic recognition program for employers.

“We strive to hire and retain talented team members who can drive real impact and help change the lives of our students,” Dr. Harry L. Williams, president & CEO of TMCF, said. “Our team is connected through our belief in the mission. Our board and leadership team are consistently evaluating ways to make the Thurgood Marshall College Fund an excellent place to work.”

TMCF is one of 96 organizations with less than 150 employees in the greater Washington area recognized as a top workplace.

“It’s a great honor to have our organization recognized in this way knowing the work and intention we put into creating the culture that makes this possible,” Dr. Williams said. “Our students and their institutions deserve a motivated and committed team working on their behalf.”
