A member of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) Board of Directors was recently named an honoree of the Virginia Black Business Leaders Hall of Fame.
Toni Townes-Whitley, CEO of SAIC, was recently featured in Virginia Business for her induction into its hall of fame. This year, 28 executives earned the Virginia Black Business Leaders Award, but only Townes-Whitley had the honor of joining the hall of fame.
“I can tell you without hesitation, we’re a stronger and more impactful organization because of Toni,” Dr. Harry L. Williams, president & CEO of TMCF, said. “Her influence and work have changed the course of so many lives of our students.”
Townes-Whitley was honored by TMCF in September during the second-ever CEO Impact Award event.
“I’m here really in the time of my life, having the job of my life, and enjoying myself tremendously with a company that mirrors some of the same values that I find with Thurgood Marshall College Fund,” Townes-Whitley said at the event.
