Leadership message: GivingTuesday is an opportunity to raise awareness and support

November 27, 2024

Dear Thurgood Marshall College Fund team,

GivingTuesday is quickly approaching. As you all know, we launched our GivingTuesday campaign earlier this month to maximize the opportunity to raise awareness and support for our students.

Part of that campaign is the TMCF Chief Giving Challenge, which is well underway and benefiting from the collective competitive spirit you possess. I’ve made my contribution and am reaching out to my network and I challenge you to do the same if you haven’t already.

A common thread among us is our belief in the mission of this work and the impact it has on our students. This is an incredible opportunity to share that story with family, friends and those in our professional and social networks so we can broaden our base of support and provide an even greater impact. You may find that those in your network don’t realize the good work you’re involved in and want to help champion the cause.

As we enter this season of gratitude, I’m grateful for you all. Thank you for joining me with the important work you do in your day-to-day activities. Please join me in contributing to this cause and sharing our story.

Sincerely,

Dr. N. Joyce Payne
