|Daphne E. Jones is Senior Executive and Chief Information Officer for Imaging, Clinical Care Solutions & Product Engineering, a $12B segment of $18B GE Healthcare, that provides medical imaging, patient monitoring, and drug discovery, employing over 55,000 people.
She is an accomplished and seasoned executive with extensive experience in cultural, business & leader transformation, digital disruption/innovation, business turnarounds, and global, large scale solutions deployments in large domestic and multi-national corporations. Her experience extends from having held general management & executive level roles in corporations such as IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Hospira (now Pfizer) and General Electric.
She has over 25 years of experience serving in leadership roles, as Corporate Officer, Senior Vice President, Senior Executive and Chief Information Officer.
Prior to her role at GE Healthcare, Daphne was Corporate Officer, SVP & CIO at Hospira, Inc. a global pharmaceutical and infusion technology company, located in Lake Forest, IL. She served as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
She began her career at IBM, serving in sales and systems engineering multiple industries, and moved on to Johnson & Johnson where she served as CIO for 3 J&J companies. The majority of her career has been spent using secure technology and business process simplification to drive competitive capabilities in the companies she served, as well as leadership development.
In 2016, Jones has received the ‘Luminary Award’ from University of West Indies. In April 2014, Jones was honored by being named one of Illinois’ “Most Powerful and Influential Women” by the National Diversity Council. She was named Computerworld’s Premier 100 CIO in 2012.
She is a globally sought after keynote speaker, panelist, and coach as she inspires others on how she rose to success against all odds. She has served as trustee & committee chair on several boards such as Evanston Art Center &Francis E Parker Homes.
Daphne has her MBA and BS from Illinois State University. She and her husband live in Wisconsin & New Jersey, and are parents of 4 adult children.
