Jennifer H. Wider, Vice President of Innovation & Strategic Initiatives at Thurgood Marshall College Fund, is responsible for developing innovative business solutions, leading cross-functional strategic initiatives and creating new revenue opportunities.Jennifer has established an impressive track record of leadership in key areas of non-profit management, including innovation, strategy and program development, project management, fundraising, and events. Over the course of her career, Jennifer generated over $50 million in federal and private grants in a broad range of areas, including, education, workforce development, capacity building, health, and technology. She has expertise in creating strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and federal agencies, including Walmart, Coca-Cola, NBCUniversal, The Hershey Company, Shell Oil Company, Microsoft, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Securities Exchange Commission, and the Centers for Disease Control.
Jennifer has raised millions of dollars for higher education over her professional career, particularly for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), and most recently served at Vice President of Development at TMCF. Her career includes past positions with UNCF and The New York Public Library. Jennifer is passionately committed to making educational opportunities available for all students and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Democracy Prep Congress Heights. She is a graduate of Syracuse University.
